Microphone Test is a browser-based utility operated by Kamil Ayub Khan. It helps show whether a browser is receiving audio from a selected microphone and can provide local playback of a short test recording. No account is required.

Results and limitations

Results depend on your browser, device, operating system, permissions, drivers, and settings. A moving meter shows that the browser is receiving a signal; it does not prove complete hardware health, recording quality, compatibility with another application, or fitness for a particular purpose.

This service is not a professional hardware or audio diagnosis. You should verify important meetings, interviews, broadcasts, and recordings in the application and equipment you intend to use.

Availability and changes

The service is provided as available. Uninterrupted operation, continued compatibility, or a particular result is not guaranteed. Features may be corrected, changed, suspended, or discontinued when reasonably necessary.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the website, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, evade security controls, or use the service unlawfully.
